Yesterday, Mike Filsaime and Rod Beckwith launched a website they’ve been working on for almost a year, called Butterfly Reports.

It’s still in beta, but I see a ton of potential for this site really taking off (pun intended… butterfly, taking off…)

In fact, this can create a whole metamorphosis for your online business! (Okay, I’ll stop with the puns now, I promise… well, for now, at least!)

The really cool thing about Butterfly Reports is it’s free — but so what, right? What do you GET for free?

Well, you get the opportunity to download money-making viral reports branded with your affiliate links, in a bunch of different niches, to give out to your subscribers or use to build a list.

Yes, that’s right… build a list AND make money at the same time.

Then you also have a chance to write your own reports that other people will brand and give out to their subscribers, getting you traffic and sales as a result.

Okay, so here’s the deal…

Almost 2 months ago, I had LASIK surgery so I could finally stop wearing annoying glasses (which hurt my nose) and contacts (which dry out my eyes) and finally see clearly again, for the first time in 20 years.

Well, it didn’t work out that way… the left eye came out pretty good (after the initial three days or so of healing) but the right eye was worse than it had ever been.

So I kept putting drops in every hour or two as directed, in an effort to help my eye heal properly. And after a few weeks it had healed, but the vision still wasn’t even close to clear. Boy, was it annoying to see things in a kind of hazy double-vision due to the two different eyesights.

Even a month after surgery when I went for the final checkup, my right eye was pretty bad and they were pretty sure it would have to be redone — after another two-month wait, since you can only do the surgery three months after the last time it’s been done.

Well, when I found out I was pregnant, I got more frustrated, because I’m pretty sure I read in the waiver that you can’t have the surgery while pregnant — so that’s another 6 months I would have to wait for clear vision.

But here’s where it gets fascinating…

Today Barry and I were watching the Final Four basketball play-offs, part of the NCAA March Madness tournament.

We’ve been watching it all along, and guess what? I’m actually enjoying watching it!

I always figured that if I was going to watch sports, it might as well be at the pro level — the players are better, so the game would be more exciting, right?

But Barry has taught me that college basketball is even more fun and inspiring, because anything can happen — with a little determination…

This morning I went to get my second ultrasound done, with my new OB/GYN at the Women’s Health Center here in town.

The baby is 9 weeks old now… and wow, has it grown since my first ultrasound at 6 weeks!

Not only that, but I saw it actually moving this time — whereas at 6 weeks he/she (or Peanut, as we call him/her) was just sleeping. And I heard the heartbeat, as strong and healthy as can be.

Here’s my latest baby picture. You can almost make out the hands and feet, which were actually waving around quite quickly at the time. The arrow is pointing at his head (yes, the head is the same size as the body).

It sure brings the term “miracle” into perspective when you can see the living results two people made… basically out of thin air!

I’ve seen the miracle of birth many times when I was breeding cats (and one of the reasons I chose my doctor is because she delivered her first litter of kittens at 9 years old)… but it’s different when it’s inside you.

Last night Barry and I went to the gym for date night.

I know, the gym… how romantic, right?

But we actually have a lot of fun at the gym together.  Usually it starts off with some stretching and/or machine workouts, then a game of basketball, and finally a dip in the pool.

We used to end the pool time with a hot tub soak, but now that I’m pregnant I’m not supposed to submerge myself in water that hot — there is a warm therapeutic pool that’s the next best thing, though… and we can do water yoga, stretches, small laps, or use the water weights for an enjoyable workout.

And… having Barry pull me around the pool with a foam tube is a fun ride for me (and a great workout for him).

But last night, the most amazing part happened before we got in the pool!

Okay, I finally did it… I gave in, faced my fears, and got acupuncture done.

Yes, acuPUNCTURE!

I always said that I didn’t mind acupressure, but acupuncture was something I never wanted to do. Geez, who wants needles stuck in their skin, and willingly to boot!

But I’ve read and heard too much about what it can do to heal the body by re-aligning our energy flow, that I just had to do it, scared or not.

Lesson learned: Facing your fears is the best way to overcome them (I already knew that, but I need reminding each and every time!)

And wow… I discovered some really surprising things today!

And I saw a video she had posted there that really had some impact.

If you ever think you “don’t have enough” or “everybody’s better off than you”, this video will help you realize that’s not necessarily true.

And yes, it’s set to a cover of an old Tears for Fears song I used to really like, so that won points for me too.

But while it’s important to appreciate the fact that you’re probably richer than 75% of the world (according to the video), it’s equally important not to let that lull you into a comfort zone.
