How To “Good Think” Your Way To Success

Patrick CombsOn Thursday this week, Barry and I are doing a live two-on-one interview with Patrick Combs, “Mr. Good Think” himself.

I wrote an article about Patrick’s drive to succeed, and never-say-die attitude, over on the Masters of the Secret blog.

I start off the article by saying:

We all know them; people who just don’t like to see other people happy, or achieve big things, who will always tell you why it can’t be done.

Why you’ll fail.

Why you should give up before you get started, and, above all, “keep the day job.”

And yet, those of us who dream big — to the point that our dreams are bigger than even our own minds can conceive — just refuse to listen to those naysayers, as hard as it is sometimes.

Who are they to steal our futures — the lives we want to manifest for ourselves?

But… what about when those “naysayers” or “dream stealers” are really the people you love — who love you back — and just want to make sure you don’t get hurt?

What if they truly have your best interests at heart?

Do you listen to them then?

And then I reference an article from Patrick’s GoodThink.com website, a story which tells about his ironic journey struggling to be accepted as a storyteller, and the amazingly synchronistic manifestation that came as a result of never giving up.

You can read my whole article on the Masters of the Secret blog here

I’ve spent my life doing the same thing; refusing to give up, no matter how rocky the road got, no matter how many roadblocks were on that road, and no matter how many times I tripped on those roadblocks and scraped my knee.

What’s Going to Humbug You?

We’ve all been told what we can or can’t do; what’s possible and what’s impossible.

Yesterday I was editing the interview I did with Ben Mack for Rick Raddatz’s Entrepreneur’s Vacation Club, and in it he quoted P.T. Barnum:

More people are humbugged by believing in too little than by believing in too much.

Ben says that when he’s told, “It can’t be done,” his response is always, “Maybe it can.”

“Coincidentally” (and if you know me, you’ll know I don’t believe in coincidences and I use that word facetiously) last week was full of examples for me that supported these concepts, and proved to me that we all humbug ourselves by believing in too little… especially when that comes to what we can achieve.

I just wrote an article over on the LWL Worldwide blog, called Taking the “Im” Off “Impossible”.

I start off by saying:

How many times has someone said to you, “That’s not possible,” or “You can’t do that,” or “It will never happen”?

Well, what if you ignored the naysayers and just did what you wanted to do anyhow?

This past week I had numerous personal experiences that reminded me, once and for all, that there’s no such thing as impossible… and we can accomplish a lot more than we think.

And I go on to give those personal stories, as well as an example from Joe Vitale; and I tie it all up with my favorite formula from Jack Canfield, E+R=O (Event + Reaction = Outcome).

But rather than try to sum it up here, why not slide on over to LWL and take a look? I know you’ll enjoy it… you can read my article by clicking here.

A Hat Trick of Teleseminars

Today I did 3 teleseminars (a hat trick in hockey terminology, which seems appropriate because today apparently the NHL season started).

Earlier today it was Ben Mack, author of Think Two Products Ahead: Secrets the Big Advertising Agencies Don’t Want You to Know and How to Use Them for Bigger Profits.

The interview was for Rick Raddatz’s Entrepreneur’s Vacation Club, and we uncovered a lot of content on sales, marketing, advertising, branding, Legend Platforms and more… but of course, in Ben’s unmistakable style where you never know what you’re going to get (which is half the fun).

Then it was real estate artist Frank McKinney for Masters of the Secret.

Frank’s the author of two bestsellers, Make It Big: 49 Secrets for Building a Life of Extreme Success, and Frank McKinney’s Maverick Approach to Real Estate Success: How You Can Go From A $50,000 Fixer-Upper To A $100 Million Mansion!

Barry and I asked him about his success principles, following your instinct, not giving in to fear when taking calculated risks, how to attract super-targetted high-end customers, how to discover and live your highest calling, and more.

No Such Thing As Nothing

Last night, Barry and I interviewed Gregg Braden, best-selling author of Hay House’s The Divine Matrix: Bridging Time, Space, Miracles and Belief for Masters of the Secret.

I posted an article on the Masters of the Secret blog about him a few days ago… it starts out like this:

First it was Alice in Wonderland. Then it was The Matrix. Then books like The Field and movies like What the Bleep Do We Know?

Yup… tune into the right media and you’ll be constantly given clues and messages to show you that life is not what it seems. The world around you is full of hidden treasures that you can only see if you open your eyes and your mind… and allow yourself to slide down the proverbial rabbit hole, with exuberance for the impending journey, excitement for what will be revealed to you, and most importantly, without trepidation or fear of what you might find.

Because like it or not, what you’re likely to find is the truth.

And sometimes the truth is a hard pill to swallow - whether it’s blue OR red.

Gregg Braden is an expert on quantum physics — the science behind how the Universe REALLY works.

Mystics, Physics and Healers, Oh My

Barry and I interviewed Hay House author and psychic Sonia Choquette yesterday for Masters of the Secret. She’s the author of Soul Lessons and Soul Purpose: A Channeled Guide to Why You Are Here.

Here’s a full-length one-hour episode of a show called Bridging Heaven and Earth featuring Sonia:

It was touch and go for awhile, because the first time we were supposed to interview her in June, we were given the wrong phone number to reach her on. At the time, Barry and I were living 3,000 miles apart, so he was going to play by Hay House’s wishes and call Sonia on her author’s line, then 3-way her into the live call.

Unfortunately that didn’t work, because we had another author’s phone number, so the call was a wash. Our community had a field day with that one: the psychic who didn’t know we had the wrong number. ;-)

Thinking Up the Yin-Yang

Yeah, yeah, think positively and everything will work out.

That’s what we’ve been taught our whole lives in the personal development arena. “Be an optimist”, “See the glass as half full”, “Never have a negative thought”.

Then quantum physics discoveries come along, and we start to learn about Universal Laws and the power of emotions.

It’s not about happy thoughts, it’s about the happiness itself.

It’s not “Think and Grow Rich”, it’s “Feel and Grow Rich”. It’s not “The Power of Positive Thinking”, it’s “The Power of Emotions”.

And it seemed like Rhonda Byrne knew all that when she created the movie (and then the book) ‘The Secret’; but apparently that’s not the case.

May Day, May Day!

This evening, Barry and I discovered what it means to have technology kick your ass.

We deal with it all day, every day. Technology allows us to do the work we do.

And, as a result, we rely on it heavily to do that work.

We had a live teleseminar scheduled for tonight with Peggy McColl, author of Your Destiny Switch: Master Your Key Emotions, and Attract the Life Of Your Dreams.

Unfortunately, if the life of our dreams included a call with Peggy, it wasn’t meant to be attracted tonight.

What Kind of Resonance Resonates With You?

On the Masters of the Secret blog, we talk about all kinds of things related to manifestation, the law of attraction, and getting what you want.

Now that we’re about to launch the Masters of the Secret, we’ve had a lot of questions about why various teachers don’t seem to agree.

But that’s the beauty of being able to talk to so many of them… there’s a teacher to resonate with every student, and it won’t always be the same teacher for everybody. There are also different tools, different techniques, different tactics for everybody.

So I just posted an article called “Well, Duh… That’s Why They Call it Resonance“.

Why I Say “Attraction - (Ratt) = Action”

Masters of the Secret is going to launch in a few days. Well, it was going to be a few days, butHeather Vale and Barry Goss Barry wants to wait a week. Easter and so forth… and there’s a lot to do still before the site is ready to launch.

It’s getting ridiculous with the amount of time I’m spending editing audios, and transcripts… why the heck can’t a single transcriptionist get all the words right? And why are they so terrible with grammar and consistency?

Everybody keeps telling me to outsource stuff, and I keep resisting if it’s something I can do myself, and something I can do well… but anybody can edit a transcript, so maybe I’ll get Barry to agree that we should do that, because neither one of us has the time.

Anyway, the pre-launch continues, and I just posted an article on the Masters of the Secret Blog about Action.

Why? Because anybody who ever has a complaint or criticism about the Law of Attraction usually says that it teaches people not to take action; something that is not true.

Mind Over Matter… and Technology

Heather ValeOkay… we prelaunched Masters of the Secret with our free talking e-book… just nobody can buy the product yet (yeah, what a tease, we know!)

And it’s funny, because every big internet marketing launch seems to crash a server, and the public at large thinks it’s all a publicity ploy. But we actually did it, so now I know it’s real!

So I posted an article on the Masters of the Secret blog called Did We Manifest a Server Crash?

Here’s how it starts:

On Tuesday, we unleashed the Masters of the Secret Talking E-book to the world en masse.

We and our heavyweight JV partners told everybody that this free multi-media resource may be the key they needed, the missing piece of the puzzle that would finally allow them to start manifesting what they want.

It’s interesting to note that most of the people we interviewed for Masters of the Secret, and most of the teachers featured in The Secret, subscribe to the doctrine that we create our own reality.

We attract everything into our lives that we experience. The good, the bad and the ugly (if you feel a need to label things good, bad or ugly).

Yes, despite the fact that we often associate “attraction” and “attractiveness” with something “good” and “beautiful”… we do attract it all. So does that mean we attract ugliness and badness… or that nothing is really ugly or bad, it just is what it is?
