people who believe it&#8217;s better to give than receive &#8212; they&#8217;re the ones who will save us from doom and gloom&#8230; aren&#8217;t they?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>And while the activists are saving the world, the starving artists are making it more beautiful.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Anyone who makes a living from their art is just a &#8220;sell-out&#8221;, whether it&#8217;s a musician making money off a TV commercial, or a painter who sells their masterpieces to decorate big corporate head offices.<\/p>\n<p>Right&#8230; ???<\/p>\n<p>Umm&#8230; hmmm.<\/p>\n<p>What would you say if I told you that was a complete and total &#8220;bass-ackwards&#8221; (as Barry likes to say) way of thinking?&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->And what if I also told you that you&#8217;re fooling yourself if you continue to believe that fairy tale, and if you pay the least bit of attention to what most of the Presidential candidates monopolizing the media these days are trying to tell you?<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes &#8212;
