{"id":120,"date":"2008-03-02T16:51:51","date_gmt":"2008-03-03T00:51:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/heathervale.com\/blog\/2008\/03\/02\/bear-won-me-a-bear-at-the-fair\/"},"modified":"2023-04-17T16:13:10","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T00:13:10","slug":"bear-won-me-a-bear-at-the-fair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/heathervale.com\/blog\/2008\/03\/02\/bear-won-me-a-bear-at-the-fair\/","title":{"rendered":"Bear Won Me A Bear at the Fair!"},"content":{"rendered":"<iframe src=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=https:\/\/heathervale.com\/blog\/2008\/03\/02\/bear-won-me-a-bear-at-the-fair\/&amp;layout=standard&amp;show_faces=1&amp;width=450&amp;action=like&amp;colorscheme=light&amp;font=\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none; overflow:hidden; width:450px; height:25px\"><\/iframe><iframe src=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fheathervale.com%2Fblog%2F2008%2F03%2F02%2Fbear-won-me-a-bear-at-the-fair%2F&amp;layout=standard&amp;show_faces=true&amp;width=450&amp;action=like&amp;colorscheme=light&amp;height=80\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none; overflow:hidden; width:450px; height:80px;\" allowTransparency=\"true\"><\/iframe><p>Okay, it finally happened!<\/p>\n<p>We manifested Barry (Bear) winning me a bear at the fair!<\/p>\n<p>He actually first tried to win me a stuffed bear at a fair last summer, but didn&#8217;t end up getting the prize.<\/p>\n<p>And Friday night he won me the purple Taz, which I appreciated a lot&#8230; but it wasn&#8217;t a bear, and I wanted Bear to win me a bear!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/heathervale.com\/images\/Heather-RenoCircusBear02-small.jpg\" title=\"Heather and Reno Circus bear\" alt=\"Heather and Reno Circus bear\" align=\"left\" height=\"272\" width=\"336\" \/>So yesterday afternoon we were playing roulette at the Circus Circus Reno casino when a girl walked up to the table with a big bear that she had won upstairs.<\/p>\n<p>I pointed it out to Barry and said, &#8220;She won a bear!&#8221; with a little knowing grin.<\/p>\n<p>I asked her where she won it, and she told us at the darts game&#8230; then I told Bear, &#8220;You could win me one of those!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I thought about it, I felt it.<\/p>\n<p>I was sure it was going to happen.<\/p>\n<p>Then we went upstairs, strolled around a bit, and finally came across the same darts game.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s my bear&#8230;&#8221; I said to Barry.<\/p>\n<p>The object of the game was to get a dart in the middle of a little white star &#8212; essentially a bullseye. Now, Barry hadn&#8217;t played darts in years, and figured he&#8217;d need about 30 to get up to bullseye standard&#8230; but he didn&#8217;t tell me that.<\/p>\n<p>The second dart missed by about 2 millimeters.<\/p>\n<p>And the next one nailed it&#8230; just 2 millimeters above the first.<\/p>\n<p>We manifested the bullseye &#8212; and the bear!  (Shown in the picture with me above)<\/p>\n<p>What were the keys to accomplishing it?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Numerous things fell into place to make it happen.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> First of all, we had put the desire out there some time ago.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly, I knew without a doubt that it would happen eventually.<\/p>\n<p>Third, we primed the pump by winning Taz the night before&#8230; and I was very grateful and appreciative of it, even though it wasn&#8217;t the bear (the final goal).<\/p>\n<p>When the girl sat near us with the perfect bear, I noticed, asked questions, thought about having it too, and felt as if we had already won.<\/p>\n<p>Then we concentrated on accomplishing the task&#8230; which we both knew would happen, even though I figured Barry would hit it right away and he figured it would happen a little later.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, he was able to use the fact that one dart missed just ever so slightly to adjust his next throw, and hit the target bang on.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s not just about wishing, or wanting, or thinking, or feeling.  It&#8217;s about all that and then taking the action to make it happen.<\/p>\n<p>After winning it, I felt on top of the world&#8230; we had accomplished something together that we had wanted to achieve for a long time!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Sure, it&#8217;s just a &#8220;little&#8221; thing in the grand scheme of things&#8230; but it&#8217;s &#8220;big&#8221; bear!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And it came from a guy with a big heart!<\/p>\n<p>Besides, sometimes the &#8220;small&#8221; manifestations in life are the ones that really make us sit up and take notice of how powerful we can be.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keep Unwrapping the Mysteries of Life!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/heathervale.com\/images\/heather_sig.jpg\" title=\"Heather Vale\" alt=\"Heather Vale\" height=\"31\" width=\"185\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, it finally happened!
