{"id":133,"date":"2008-04-04T22:08:42","date_gmt":"2008-04-05T06:08:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/heathervale.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/04\/manifesting-perfect-eyesight\/"},"modified":"2023-04-17T16:13:07","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T00:13:07","slug":"manifesting-perfect-eyesight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/heathervale.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/04\/manifesting-perfect-eyesight\/","title":{"rendered":"Manifesting Perfect Eyesight"},"content":{"rendered":"<iframe src=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=https:\/\/heathervale.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/04\/manifesting-perfect-eyesight\/&amp;layout=standard&amp;show_faces=1&amp;width=450&amp;action=like&amp;colorscheme=light&amp;font=\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none; overflow:hidden; width:450px; height:25px\"><\/iframe><iframe src=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fheathervale.com%2Fblog%2F2008%2F04%2F04%2Fmanifesting-perfect-eyesight%2F&amp;layout=standard&amp;show_faces=true&amp;width=450&amp;action=like&amp;colorscheme=light&amp;height=80\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none; overflow:hidden; width:450px; height:80px;\" allowTransparency=\"true\"><\/iframe><p>Okay, so here&#8217;s the deal&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Almost 2 months ago, I had LASIK surgery so I could finally stop wearing annoying glasses (which hurt my nose) and contacts (which dry out my eyes) and finally see clearly again, for the first time in 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>Well, it didn&#8217;t work out that way&#8230; the left eye came out pretty good (after the initial three days or so of healing) but the right eye was worse than it had ever been.<\/p>\n<p>So I kept putting drops in every hour or two as directed, in an effort to help my eye heal properly.  And after a few weeks it had healed, but the vision still wasn&#8217;t even close to clear.  Boy, was it annoying to see things in a kind of hazy double-vision due to the two different eyesights.<\/p>\n<p>Even a month after surgery when I went for the final checkup, my right eye was pretty bad and they were pretty sure it would have to be redone &#8212; after another two-month wait, since you can only do the surgery three months after the last time it&#8217;s been done.<\/p>\n<p>Well, when I found out I was pregnant, I got more frustrated, because I&#8217;m pretty sure I read in the waiver that you can&#8217;t have the surgery while pregnant &#8212; so that&#8217;s another 6 months I would have to wait for clear vision.<\/p>\n<p>But here&#8217;s where it gets fascinating&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nBy that time, my eyesight in the right eye had reverted back to where it had been before the surgery (an improvement, and that meant I could now wear one of my old contact lenses and see almost perfectly!)<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>And I resigned myself to the fact that it was going to be that way for a few months, and let go of all concern about it.  Nothing I could do about it, so no reason to worry or wonder.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>But after a few days, I noticed that my eyesight was blurry with the contact in&#8230; and much clearer without.<\/p>\n<p>A few days after that, it was even more clear.<\/p>\n<p>And the other day when I was out driving, I noticed for the first time that I could clearly read street signs&#8230; <em>even with the &#8220;bad&#8221; eye<\/em> that couldn&#8217;t read anything just a week or two before!<\/p>\n<p>So now I know that when they call me back in next month to see if I need the surgery redone&#8230; I won&#8217;t have to have it done!<\/p>\n<p>My eyesight now is better than I remember it ever being, and it keeps getting progressively better by the day.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It&#8217;s just like manifestation&#8230; as soon as you let something go, stop being attached to the outcome and stop the torrent of emotions around it, that&#8217;s when it shows up!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hmm&#8230; manifesting perfect eyesight.
