After the Hiatus

Zen BuddhaOK, yeah, I know that it’s been almost (like, practically to the day) 4 months since my last blog post.

And I realize that waiting that long between posts goes against everything anyone will ever tell you about blogging.

But you know what? Sometimes there are more important things in life.

Sometimes (or rather, always) family comes first.

Sometimes, writing for yourself trumps writing for the world. Personally over the summer, I’ve gotten a lot out of journaling and recording things that only I will ever see.

And sometimes you just need a break — from whatever, and for whatever reason.

So that’s my story, and it’s all I need to mention right now… except I do want to share one of the most important lessons I’ve learned during this time:

“You can explore the universe looking for somebody who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and you will not find that person anywhere.” – Buddhist saying

The same message has come to me in various forms, from various sources, over the past few months, and it means a lot to me… hopefully it means a lot to you too.

Keep Unwrapping The Mysteries of Life!
